The two worst ideas’ I’ve heard so far in this election is Jax's hand sanitizer idea and Tyler's health care idea if I'm that sick I’d just go to the ER

Ok well here are some of the better ideas:

Badar
His ideas on increasing Quarters food production and his bookstore ideas are probably the only golden concepts to come out of this presidential campaign.

Quarters being able to serve food came out of a loophole exploited by none other than Sam Minniti. We should exploit this as much as possible because the food prices on campus are stupid and the students (MSU) ARE POWERLESS to change university food prices. BUT we could offer cheap GOOD food en mass. Delivery was also an option brought up by Badar and I think this could work

As far as the bookstore goes, the rediculousness of the MSU Used Bookstore is a joke so far. I mean, what does it really take to operate a room where students can trade books? And this isn't even open yet! I can forsee Badar's plan being put in place where students can put in an order for a textbook, another student (as an employee) will find the best price, put the order in and deliver it to the student, all at a much cheaper cost

Emery
The concept of EVIL is really well thought out. Despite the acronym, every candidate should match these expectations.

Ok and now the stupid campaign ideas brought forward..

Tyler
Greenspace concept... DUDE, McMaster has 300 acres, of which only 30 is the actual campus. The whole concept that there isn't enough boggles my mind? JHE is the only place to play frisbee?? The mayfair oval, the back fields, beside Ivor Wynn amongst others, there are a ton of spaces. Our University is beside a conservation area dude, what else could you ask for?

Badar (and others)
Interfaith prayer areas... McMaster isn't a religious institution (well, it is baptist school, I believe) so why should this even be an issue?? And besides, lets be honest, this whole issue means muslim prayer space. Well, what do you need? A sink for cleansing and then a quite area for reflection. EVERY building on the campus has a sink and EVERY building on campus has quiet areas. I have been here for years and have seen many muslim students praying in different places and it doesn't bother me, I quietly get out of their way. Why do we need to waste space (and space on our campus is precious) dedicated for this?

Jax
Safespace... ok, a safespace for all.. where does this end? What if I am want a space for athiests? blonde hair people? all these arbitrary definitions to create spaces is absurd. We are susposed to be liberalized free minded people, so live like it and accept that every single person is different and immerse yourself in it, not retreat to safe spaces.

Drew Mitchell
Basically his entire platform. As a MSU insider who has preached voting on the issues as opposed to vague, unachievable issues, his campaign is full of listing problems without listing solutions, only that he can help fix them.

On that note, I believe that divinity college should probably incorperate its area to accomedate 'inter faith prayer'. Its already a reigious building and half the time its mostly empty anyway.
